Participation in COSIA Inter-Lab Study
Please join Dr. Sethi as he presents at the conference; “Limitations and Constraints of MBI (Methylene Blue Index) Test on Estimating Clays and Clay Minerals and Specific Surface Area in Oil Sands Tailings and Core Samples.”
University of Alberta, Edmonton, April 28 (Workshop) & April 29, 2015 (Conference).
Conference Description:
“Advancing clay science through measurement, management, applied research, and technology deployment for the sustainable development of Canada’s oil sands.
While 2015 will mark the 1st biennial COSIA Clay Workshop and Conference, it builds on three previous CONRAD Clay events over the past five years. COSIA is proud to continue building on that established reputation for best-in-class discussions on clay science in the oil sands industry in Alberta. COSIA will continue this important event to enable industry, researchers, students, governments, and the service, supply and technology sectors to advance and measure the tailings and water management performance improvement goals of the oil sands sector.”
